Hi there. If you've clicked onto this page, the chances are you're an indy publisher who wants to get their  graphic novel out to a wider readership.

Right, the first thing I want to say, is that having your book sold by smallzone, isn't just a listing on the website. I also attend Marts and Conventions all over the country selling your books to those who might never before have had an interest in independent comics.

Those publishers who produce trade paperbacks and graphic novels of a professional standard will also be have their titles available for UK distribution in comics shops and other venue that sell comics and if your titles have an ISBN Barcode we will also list your books on our Amazon Shop which has proven to be very popular with readers all over the world.

So, that's what you get. 'How much does this service cost?' I hear you ask. There is no up front payment for any of our service, only a percentage of your cover price from items sold. The rates charged and the service offered for each are as follows:

The Smallzone commission is a simple 50% from your cover price, and only graphic novels, trade paperbacks and hand finnished mini comics priced at 2.00 or over can be accepted under these conditions.

All previous agreements with publishers will remain the same, unless publishers send me written confirmation that they'd prefer to swap to a new rate. However we are no longer accepting submissions of serial comics or "Floppies" as they are sometimes known.

So now you have the commission structure you need to know how to submit your Graphic Novel or Mini Comic for retail and/or distribution:

First of all I need a sample copy of your book to see if it's what I'm after. This can be a hard copy by post or a low res PDF. Once approved you also need to email me images. I will need a gif. or Jpeg. of the cover and preferably 4 images of interior artwork at 72 - 150dpi. You can also send images on a disk with your sample copy if you like.

Please also feel free to send me embedding urls for your own e-books, utube trailers podcasts, or any other promotional media you have online that can be used to help promote your work, as it can all be intergrated into your listing.

When they are all gone I will order some more and the amount I order will depend on how quickley the first order has sold and on the interest from customers in your books.

I will send you a cheque within 60 days of delivery. Payments under £25 will roll over to the next two months.
